I've been a licensed radio ham for almost 30 years now. Its a great hobby and I get a lot of enjoyment out of it. Over the years I have had many interests in the hobby including amateur television, slow scan TV and RTTY. Currently I'm trying my hand at satellite communications. I can often be heard on 20 meters around 14.200 mhz, and also on my local repeater on 146.675 mhz. I use an Icom IC751 as my HF rig with an Ameritron AL-811 linear amplifier, and an FT-736R all mode transceiver for VHF and UHF work. I use a 2 element tribander and a G5RV for HF antennas and various vertical antennas for 6 meters, 2 meters, 70 centimetres and 23 centimetres.
